Customer
Requirements:
Customer
needed a means to document the amount of soil
being moved from one location to another.
This
customer did not want the cost of hiring an
attendant for this operation.
The
customer also did not want to slow the operation
down by having drivers get out and print tickets
each time they crossed the scales.
Solution:
Provided
an Unattended Truck Scale System by installing
RFID tags on the trucks, an RFID Tag reader
at the scale, along with a JagExtreme Indicator
programmed to allow trucks to be automatically
weighed. Truck ID, Weight, along with date
and time is captured and stored in a report
file which can periodically be printed out
or downloaded into a laptop computer.
ROI
: The Unattended Portion of the project cost
less than hiring an attendant for six (6)
months.
